I have only recieved a few swaps so far, although I've noticed many partners have marked sent. If you're waiting on your rating it is because I haven't recieved it yet! Please be patient, I'll rate the day I get it.

My name is Shelby and I live in Northern Minnesota. I'm married to my wonderful husband Jon, who is in the United States Air Force. We have one son, Abel, he is currently 2 months old.

We are Roman Catholic, however we would appreciate not receiving any religious items unless specified.

We love cats and dogs.

I love the colors pink, black, red, and blue. I love animal prints. I enjoy sewing, knitting, and baking. I love writing letters, I keep in constant contact with one of my high school teachers.

I love tea and I go to (and host) informal tea parties frequently. I'm always looking for something fun and exciting to give as favors to my guests.

If there is anything else you would like to know or think I should add to this, I would love a message!

I like the following (think hearts!!)

--Red (rooibos) and Herb tea. Fruit teas also.

--Christmas time is important to me. I love ornaments

--Teabag caddies (the ceramic ones you put a used teabag on, not the ones for your purse)

--Asian food and all that goes with Asian food (chopsticks, bento goodies)

--Fun fabrics to sew with. Kawaii fabrics and damask prints are my favorite. Anything "baby" is awesome too. Modern is best.

--I love NCIS (the tv show) and Murder Mystery novels. I also love Romance novels (think Harlequin).

--Cute stationary

--Coupons (Really! I try to use a coupon with everything I buy, especially diapers!)

--Reading. Although I don't always get time to read, this is truly my passion!

--Cooking! This is another passion. I love to make "gourmet" meals from scratch for my family and I have been known to make an excellent pie!

--Friendship books, however please read this carefully. Do not send your excess fbs to me. I don't have the space or time to have tons of these. Only send if a swap is specifically for these. Mom only fbs if possible. Other fbs are fine if it's for a swap and you don't have any mom only ones. Please only high quality friendship books. If you make an fb for me, I have a specific request for my address listed in a section below. Please check that out before making any for me.

This is a list of my dislikes. If you send something on this list, I will try to pass it along to a family member or someone I know who might like it.

I do not like or do not want the following:

--Black tea or Green tea

--Scrapbooking/card making embellishments

--Perfumes or heavily scented lotions

--ATC's or inchies (please don't send these)

--Jewelry. I wear my wedding ring and only my wedding ring.

--I'm no longer collecting used stamps, so please don't send those. However if you want some used stamps, I have tons from all over the world! Just message me and we can trade them for something I might like!

--Coffee, energy drinks, Mountain Dew

--Most chocolate. I know, a woman who doesn't like chocolate seems strange. I do like Hershey's Milk Chocolate and Lindor Truffles but that's about it.

--Please Note! I love kawaii, but I'm kind of a "closet" kawaii lover! Please no kawaii headbands, t-shirts, jewelry, etc. Keychains/purses/totes are fine.

I thought since there were a lot of other users posting Wishlists, I should too. (Would love to give hearts for this stuff!)

1. Diaper coupons (Preferrably Huggies). Please send them at least 1 month before the expiration date. I hate getting expired coupons.

2. Coasters. I love collecting the cardboard ones I get for free at the booths at the county fair.

3. Christmas Cards to my family and I (yes, written and addressed).

4. A penpal that I can really get along with. Not someone who already has hundreds of other penpals, I'm talking about someone who has a lot in common with me and I can exchange letters with weekly. US only please, penpal letters get expensive when international.

5. US Air Force "stuff"- We are an Air Force family, so anything that speaks "Air Force" would be great. Shirts, hats, pins, buttons, fabrics, stationary, pictures, etc.

6. Baby boy stuff. My son, Abel, is only 2 months old currently and we love opening baby presents. He currently wears a size 0-3 (large) or 3-6 (small), it really depends on the brand.

7. I'm always running out of postage stamps before I get a chance to buy new ones, so those would be nice.

8. Christmas tree ornaments. In great need of these.

9. A table cloth, really. I have one tablecloth that we got for our wedding, but it's very Autumn/Thanksgiving themed. I need one for Christmas/Winter. As a rough estimate, our table is 6 feet by 4 feet (oval) so a 7' by 5' tablecloth would be ideal. Our current one was handmade with some "quilted" style stitching, so another handmade one would be nice.

10. An apron. I need a good quality apron for cooking/cleaning. Full body (not fond of half/waist aprons) size Large. I love damask prints.

11. 8x10 artwork. Our walls are almost bare. We really need some good artwork or photography on them.

12. Ceramic Teabag caddy (for putting a used teabag on). I don't own any actually teacups and saucers, and really don't care to. However tea caddies are perfect for putting my used teabag on when I'm at a tea party, I would love to get a few of my own!

13. Cute stationary. I have to much already but I always love getting more!

14. Refridgerator Magnets! Lots please. Flat or 3-D!

15. Swap cards.

16. Bento Supplies! Boxes, picks, sectionals, recipes, cutters, molds, etc.

Since I intend on doing some swaps for my little boy. I might as well do a little profile about him. His name is Abel. He is currently 2 months old, his birthday is August 26, 2009. Abel is currently an only child.

He loves to smile and giggle when we make funny faces at him. He loves green, blue, and yellow, and red, but not pink! He loves monkeys and dinosaurs.

He really likes when his daddy reads to him and enjoys going to the library to borrow books with his own library card!

He likes to be awake during the day and he sleeps at night in his own bed. (Yes, he usually sleeps through the night!) He loves his bathtime and splashing the water on Momma and Daddy. He loves to cuddle with Grandma and Gramma Jo. He likes when Grandpa Chuck tells him stories, and he likes when Grandpa Rick bounces him. He loves to jump!

Abel currently doesn't have any favorite characters, because he's not interested in television and his favorite genre of music in Classical. His favorite song is Mozart's Sonata in A Major, First Movement. It's the only thing that helps him sleep.

If anyone makes an FB for me PLEASE put only my email address on it, not my physical address. I am a military wife and my address is very likely to change often!!
