Well, I'm Shan. Hi, how are you? As of right now, I am a student and a huge pack rat.
I am particularly interested in photography and I have some informal-type training. Any tips, either in photo skills, cameras, lenses or what-have-you is always appreciated.
I also have a deep love of writing, dance, and traveling.
Feel free to send any bits of randomness if you're ever stuck. I'm not at all picky.
Movies are basically the very center of my life. I'm not one to be fussy about movie choices, and in fact I love both classics and the ones deemed "absolutely terrible". If you ever have a movie suggestion, let me know!
A list of movies that I've found very good: -V for Vendetta -Count of Monte Cristo (1934) -Labyrinth -Pulp Fiction -Indiana Jones -Dark Knight -Casablanca -Repo! The Genetic Opera -Rocky Horror Picture Show -Moulin Rouge
My number two priority in life, aside from movies. I read a lot. Again, feel free to send suggestions!
Likes: -Neil Gaiman -Hans Christian Anderson -fairy tales and fables -J.K. Rowling -John Connolly
Dislikes: Please, no Twilight.
I am a musical person, as in Broadway. Again, not too picky, as there are few musicals that I dislike.
My taste in music has always been some what limited, since my energy has always been spent else where. I would love to hear anything you send at me. I encourage it even. Just please, no country, rap or top 40.
This is one field that I am fussy about. I like my shows to be somewhat humorous, or have some meat to them. Of course, there are the classics like Seinfeld and Friends, but as of right now, there are only a few shows that I watch.
-True Blood -The Office -Big Bang Theory -John Adams -Tin Man
I have however recently discovered the joy of home decorating shows. I'm in particular love with "Colin and Justin's Home Heist".
Also, I am a huge fan of ABDC, America's Best Dance Crew. Just letting you know...
Ah yes, the nerdy things. I am a proud weirdo and I do not shy away from the occasional comic book or graphic novel. C'mon, I'm not afraid. :)

Hi, Shan, You are one of my partners for the "Play it Loud/annoy the Neighbors" CD swap, and I was just looking at your Profile to see what kinds of music you listen to... I noticed that you are a big movie fan, and that you would like some suggestions... I saw a movie called "Vera Black" on video not too long ago, and really loved it...I thought it was very well done..also, recently saw "Doubt" with Meryl Streep, and loved it, too...
As for TV suggestions...I see you like "The Office" and humorous shows..have you ever seen "Curb Your Enthusiasm" with Larry David? It's really funny...and my all time favorite TV show is "Little Britain" on BBC. I laugh so hard I can't contain myself when I watch that show!!
Well, I just wanted to get to know you better....Nice to meet you, and hope to talk with you soon!! Your swap pal, Sandi
