About Me

Hello! Thank you for stopping in to read my profile.

Here's a quick Wishlist:

Anything Vintage Camp Trailer Related--I live in a 38' travel trailer and I so love random items that are related to camping or vintage camp trailers

Altoid tins or metal boxes for my kiddos science projects

Ribbon and/or Washi Tape (I've discovered it and I love it!)

Vacation/Travel/Camping stickers, ribbon, paper

Now for the deets:

My husband and I are divorcees who found each other and have had a great second chance at life. I have 2 step-kiddos one boy 12 and one girl 14 who live with us. My 19yo daughter lives on her own. My husband works for the US Postal Service. I'm lucky, I just send my swaps with him to get mailed. If by chance you don't get a swap from me, please let me know and I can see what happened. I LOVE leaving feedback for what I receive and will leave feedback the day I receive a mail package. I work at the city library as an assistant. I love my job. I work with the public. I help with finding books, basic computer skills education, STEM Club, and designing bulletin boards to name a few things. I love to cook, garden, craft, and create. I'm an avid upcycler/recycler....if it can be pasted, paper or embellished then I'll repurpose it or reuse it! I hate to throw anything away that I feel could be reused, but I'm not a hoarder. If I find I can't do anything else with it, I recycle it at the local recycling bin.

I'm part of the new movement called tiny house living. My husband and I went from 3000 sq ft house to a 380 sq ft travel trailer. We were living in a 300 sq ft 5th wheel but needed a little more room for the kidsl. We have 2 kids, 5 cats and us that all live happily together. I love things that help me be organized and I love to see what others have done to be organized even in a large home. I have all kinds of different organization bins in my home and I love craft supplies so feel free to send me anything crafty, I'm always trying something new.

I'm not a picky person, I like just about anything! If I don't like something (which is rare), I always have someone who will take it off my hands ;)

I enjoy shopping at antique stores and flea markets. I like old knobs and hooks, metal fairies and ceramic gnomes for my garden.

Styles that I like: steampunk, victorian, fairy whimsical, vintage circus, Novelty camper and movie stuff.

I work at a library so I have access to all kinds of books. I'm currently reading Borne by Jeff Vandermeer.

MY LIKES: I'm always happy to receive:

*cute vintage camp trailer stuff

*Socks--mid calf or ankle--I'm a sock hoarder and will instantly heart for socks sent to me...but they do need to be new.

*Coins-international or old american (what pennies, indian heads, ect)

*Kawaii--stickers, stationary, candy

*Postcards that are filled out (unless they are vintage and they don't need to be)

*Handmade postcards and stationary my favorite theme is Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton perferred) or Star Wars theme. I'm always willing to take any you're willing to share regardless of theme.

Anything that have cats on it or are cat shaped--especially magnets--I collect them!

Halloween is my favorite holiday followed closely by Valentine's Day.

Stickles or glitter glue in any color. My daughters love making glue into slime and I use glitter glue on many of my craft projects.

Dimensional stickers or 3-D stickers--LOVE

glue dots or 2 sided tape. I use so much of this.

empty and/or altered altoid tins. I'm the coordinator for our STEM Club and we use these for different projects, any you would be willing to share would be appreciated!

anything Tim Holtz because he's amazing

Mini Albums--already made or chipboard albums. They take up so little space and I can fill them with pictures quickly.

bling of any kind because what girl doesn't like sparkle

Stationary Sets and I'm not picky. I love handmade items the best so if you have that talent and would like to share I'd love it.

I love recipe cards, especially hand made ones only problem is I sometimes can't read it if its hand written so typed preferrably.

tea- I love bold, dark blends like earl grey, english breakfast, black or irish but willing to try any

small coin purse-- my kids borrow and lose them so always looking to replace them.

altered items--if you would like to share something you made or someone else made I'd love to have it.

jewelry: store-bought or handmade especially anything made with beads! (I don't make jewelry, but I would love to learn)

ribbon or lace--I currently have none and would love to build my collection

bug/gardening items (very fond of metal!) I'm getting my ideas in place for a garden this spring--we're hoping for a 20'x40' garden spot!

hand sanitizers in a citrus or vanilla smell or no smell

mini notebooks or post it notes---I use these so quickly at work and will take any you send

magnets of your state, country, or any of the above themes I mentioned...

I REALLY appreciate what's sent to me. There are many generous and caring people here on Swap-Bot and with that being said, as long as you're not sending me dirty or really stinky stuff, I'm happy with what's sent.

My FAVORITE FOOD Stuff: Candy in general--i love sour or hot and spicy. I share everything sent to me with my kiddos. They love things we can't readily buy in our area. I will give an instant heart for anything unique from your area!!

Thanks for reading my profile!! Happy Swapping!!

Comment: Thanks for the candies and the packet of extras too. FYI, the glue dots on the back were so sticky I had trouble removing the embellishments from the backing.
