I am a mom of five beautiful girls and one step son. I have six of the most wonderful grandkids. I also have the most living husband and a cute dog. I had a career I loved for 18 1/2 years but had to leave for health reasons. I took that obstacle and used it to my advantage, I became a student. I have loved learning and if pressed would admit I am grateful for the opportunity. I do not drink coffee, black teas, or alcohol. I do love to read, quilt, crochet and most any diy type thing. I love to meet new people and learn new things. Pleased to meet you!

To clarify my likes and funs. I love photography. I have a digital slr. I also have a small collection of vintage cameras to go with my obsession. There I have said it. I also love to crochet. I have a pentiant for making gifts with my crocheting. My quilting/sewing is another stress reliever. I love to sew things for family and friends. I love to make quilts. I am one of those that grafts them out to a t. I also have fun building and refinishing furniture, baking yummy food, and making things from scratch.

I love music. In fact I love most music. Okay so maybe not rap, twangy country, or techno. But other then that I love music. Lately my husband and I have been able to go to concerts of bands we listened to as youngsters. How fun to hear them all over again. We have also been able to go to several of our country faves.

I like to read. It is a great way to learn new things or just be somewhere else for a short period of time. I just finished reading 'The Book Thief' What a wonderful book. I am trying to decide what I am going to read next. It will be fun to decide.
