I am an elementary teacher and a newlywed! My husband is a civil engineer and we have just moved into our first house. We have one cat and no children yet. :) I am currently working on my master's degree in Teaching American History. We enjoy outdoor activities, hanging out with friends, home improvement projects, and getting together with family. I like to be funny and I've very easy going. My family jokes a lot! I am a do it yourself type of person, well, at least I'll try!

My favorite music includes country and classic rock. I love to go to concerts!

I love to read! Summer is about the only time that I can get any reading done... :) Authors that I love include Jodi Picoult, Jane Green, Sophie Kinsella, Nicholas Sparks, etc.

Comedies are my favorites with chick flicks coming in second. Will Ferrel is one of my favorite actors and movies including Anchorman, Old School, The Hangover, etc. I also love movies such as The Notebook, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, etc.

The Office is by far my favorite TV show! :) I also love Modern Family, The Middle, Desperate Housewives, and The View.

I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING! Along with that comes paper crafts such as card making, picture frames, gift tags...just about anything you can think of is something I'm willing to try. I also love stamping, photography, sewing, and I'm trying to teach myself to knit. :) I love buying paper, ribbon, embellishments, note cards, and just about anything you can find in a craft store! :) Lately I've been experimenting with refinishing furniture around the house.
