Hi, I am a 46 year old Mom of 5, ages 22, 21, 19, 18 and 13. I love crafting, just about everything, I love writing to pen pals and bullet journalling. I live 25 miles south of Birmingham, Al and work for the power company there. I am also getting back into using Paint Shop Pro to use and create graphics to use for my pen pal and planner stuff.

I love lots of different kinds of music My playlist changes very often. I like Pop, R&B, Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop. My high school years were during the late 80's, I keep a running playlist and add to it when I remember a good song! I really love it when a movie soundtrack has a bunch of great songs! I discovered Zero 7 featuring Sia after watching the movie Guess Who?

I love to read, I've not been very diligent in do so lately! I've been obsessed with Jane Austen lately, Pride and Prejudice being my fav. The movie with Kiera Knightly plays in the background at home...the music relaxes me. I am on the lookout for a book that will catch my interest.

Lately, my crafting has had everything to do with my pen pals, making cute things to send, pocket letters. Since I'm new here, I'd love it if someone would swap a pocket letter with me to show me what is expected here and also to critique mine. I've only made 2 so far. No feedback from one, the other is on it's way. Anyway, I also knit, crochet and cross stitch. I enjoy most any kind of papercrafting. I like to paint on small canvas boards. Washi tape is an absolute fav of mine as well.

I live 25 miles south of Birmingham, Alabama. It is considered the "country". My subdivision is nice and quiet and I enjoy it, but I am a true city girl. I do miss living in Birmingham and being close to all of the cool places and attractions. I enjoy visiting Railroad Park, Vulcan Statue, Highland Avenue, Lakeview, Avondale Park, Pepper Place, and more! My favorite beach is 3 hours south, just before you get to Mobile. Gulf Shores has some of the prettiest white sand! I love it there. I live about 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa, AL - Roll Tide!!! It took me a long time before choosing a team. You gotta choose between Auburn and Alabama - I think I chose Alabama because my ex husband loves Auburn!! LOL ROLL TIDE!
