I love quilting!! My grandmother taught me several years ago and EVERYTHING was done by hand. I got busy with three children and my husband and didn't quilt again for several years. At a cousin weekend hosted by my Auntie, she was showing us her quilts that she pieced by machine (she still hand quilts everything) and that was all it took. I went home, bought a sewing machine and have been peicing quilt tops non stop. I send most of them to a long arm quilter. I've hand quilted a few, machine quilted a few and I have a baby lock Sashiko that I've quilted a few on.

Likes: I love bright colors, think Bonnie and Camille. I also like a vintage/reproduction look, think Aunt Grace. I like both hand and machine quilting but prefer th look of hand quilting.

Dislikes: I don't "hate" but I'm not crazy about batiks. I don't like civil war fabric
