I am 62 years old and live in a small rural farming village just outside Canada's capital city, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

I am married with two young adult sons. I have two cats, orange tabby Kobie and gray and white tabby, Graydie.

I am a creative type who loves creative writing, photography, card making and letter writing. I recently did a 100 Day book challenge and got my first draft of my romance novel done. Yay! Now the revising will begin. Writing a book is not for the faint of heart, I tell you! Phew!

The pandemic sure wreaked havoc with all my musical groups and the choir dissolved as a result which saddened me.

I've only recently resumed going back to concert band along with my hubby and older son which is great to get my flute and piccolo going again.

I like reading romance, chicklit, history and young adult books. I love going to movies at the theatre and have only recently started going there again. I also enjoy watching movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kanopy and Hoopla.

I adore live musicals and have been getting my fill of them after not being able to see anything live for 2 and a half years.

My snail mail is such a delight and I appreciate every single card and letter that you send. I have an outdoor mailbox and your mail makes that cold walk in the winter well worth it.

As for things I like to get in the mail, I am not too fussy and picky. I don't do much with washi tape, stamps or coins so please save those for people who enjoy them as I usually just pass them along. Not complaining though. It's lovely to receive anything and I appreciate it all.

I do love stickers, notecards and stationery. Vintage or stuff with cats and birds are a special delight but I'm just so happy to get anything in the mail that isn't junk or a bill! I don't mind postcards just as they are. Thanks so much!
