Hi, I'm a retired Canadian grandmother of two. I enjoy quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting. This is my first swap and I'm really looking forward to it. I love the 1930's fabrics! I've been collecting fat quarters of the fabrics for the past two or three years so I'm so looking forward to creating something using both the fabric and the book. I love most colours but especially pinks, purples,blues and greens. If I were to be completely honest I would say I love everything quilting! I'm looking forward to swapping with others who love quilting as much as I do. Charlene

FAVOURITE CRAFTS: I have been knitting and crocheting since I was a teen and still find it extremely relaxing. I knit a lot of sweaters, hats, etc for babies and kids but I also make a lot of afghans. About six years ago I learned to smock - I love vintage and heirloom looking items. Then, because these didn't cost me enough, lol, I started quilting and it became my newest passion. I love vintage wilts the most but have made quite a few modern ones as well.

FAVOURITE COLOURS My favourite colour is pink - hot pink to light pink but not so much a rose pink. I also love purples, lime green, orange, yellow and turquoise.

FAVOURITE FABRICS I absolutely love the 1930's fabrics - I have been collecting them for the last few years and can honestly say this is really the main thing I collect. I also like Christmas and spring fabrics. And of course, polka dots!!

OTHER THINGS I LIKE If anyone happens to be doing the Row By Row Experience - I'd love to receive a pattern or two from your area😃 I love spending time with my family and dog. I love quilting gadgets and I'm always looking for handy, new things. I am a large supporter of Breast Cancer research and like things to do with that - pins, fabrics, clips, etc. IN the last year or so I have developed a love for tea...fruit teas, mint, black teas orange pekoe...pretty much any tea as long as it does not contain caffeine (for health reasons) I also love milk chocolate, fruity candies, gummy candies and mints.

I have recently picked up an American Doll and I'm really enjoying making clothes for her - the idea is to build a huge wardrobe so when my one year old granddaughter is old enough to play with her she will be well equipped. I'd love to join more AG swaps!!

DISLIKES I don't have a lot of dislikes but I will say that I do not like writing about myself - so if you happen to get my name in a swap and want to know something I haven't included here, please send me an email.

One other thing, although I'm new to swapping I give them serious thought before joining up so you know that if I have your name, you will get your parcel from me.
