i enjoy reading classic novels such as steinbeck. i also love to read stories that are set in countries other than the U.S.

recently i started reading comics - harley quinn and catwoman, and i'm a big fan of the walking dead.

i love quote, poem and art books (sabrina ward harrison).

i'm currently in graduate school studying public policy and need something to take my mind off of writing research papers!

i love to make art, but i haven't done so in many years. i am hoping to get myself back into it by joining art swaps.

i'm 26, and i have a very furry jack russell named cow. he's mischievous and keeps me busy.

note: i realized someone has almost the very same address as me in my neighborhood, just two numbers switched. i believe they might be getting my mail on occasion and so if i do not receive a postcard i will send a message letting you know, but will not rate based on it missing! i will assume it went to the wrong address and will pm you. sorry about that.

since i am doing a lot of postcard swaps, i find it so nice when people have a list of things they enjoy when receiving postcards. my list:

-art: watercolors, famous paintings, abstract or unusual, photography, b&w, pen drawings, famous or not so famous artists, street art, i also enjoy self-made postcards, art journaling, collage, mixed media

-travel: i don't enjoy the very generic tourist cards unless they are very interesting (different than the usual) or very scenic, foreign scenery, africa, i heart everything paris, europe, cultural (from fashion to every day life), airplanes, boats, trams, essentially any mode of transportation, biking, road signs

-fun: fashion especially haute couture, flowers, quotes, science, zombies, book covers, magazine covers, vogue, birds, vintage

note: i don't mind the cards that come out of the postcard books, most of the time i very much enjoy them. but would you be so kind as to cut off the perforated edge? i will do the same!
