I do all the things - some poorly, many passably, very few extremely well.

Professionally, my main title is Operations Manager for a small musical instrument distribution company, however, I also handle all customer service, warehouse management, AR, and product knowledge, development, and QC.

I have an amazing boyfriend/partner/fiance/person with an amazing 7-year-old ginger kid that I love to death. I like to think I roll with the punches, but am aware that I may overplan things sometimes...

Also, I love sunsets and long walks on the beach. J/K! I do love the beach but live nowhere near it. I love kids movies, homemade pie and snuggly blankets and have a total weakness for cribbage and cider beer. Hopefully I've sketched a good (albeit long) portrait of myself, and I look forward to meeting new people!

I read anything from Asimov to Tolstoy and everything in between, except Twilight, and, ironically, Harry Potter. I gravitate towards classics in all genres but am always open to new and modern authors. My favorite poet is Pablo Neruda, hands down.

I love to cook! Technically I guess you could say we're quasi-tarians; my partner is vegetarian (he eats the fishies), so I cook veggie a lot, we definitely do not do a lot of processed foods, and we try to do local, organic, or make-our-own-whatever whenever it is economically feasible to do so. However, we are most definitely a no-bean zone. Hummus is the ONLY exception!

Craft-wise, I do bits of all things. I can knit and crochet competently, as well as quilt, sew, do beadwork, scrapbooking, ATC's, and art collage; though I've also made dotee dolls, stuffies, soap, and a myriad of other miscellaneous crafts.

To me, the most important thing in a piece is effort. I have a soft spot for anything functional with a funky twist. Owls, birds, music, retro/steampunk/nerdy are all themes I find myself returning to.
