Hi! My name is Amanda and I live in St. Louis, Missouri. My husband and I just bought our first home and are enjoying remodeling and making it our own. I am a wedding coordinator by profession but spend most of my free time cooking, crafting, and spending time with friends.

I love to knit but rarely finish a piece. My grandmother is teaching me to quilt but my blocks look more like parallelograms than squares. My photos desperately need to be cataloged but I am a reluctant scrapbooker. I recently put in a garden but the rabbits and squirrels tend to beat me to the produce.

The important thing is that I love it, right?! I am very must so a "joy is in the journey" kind of person.

I love: tea (particularly citrus and other fruit varieties), all things home oriented, warm colors, soft materials, rustic decor, cookies & cupcakes, cooking in general, small sewing projects, clocks of all types, salt+pepper shakers, and encouraging quotes.

I dislike glitter, overly girly things, clutter, neon colors, and the scent of vanilla.

I was a music major in undergrad so I like to think I have a wide range of interests. I'm not a huge Top 40 fan with the exception of the Black Eyed Peas. I also enjoy old-school country (but only when my husband is out of earshot), classical, jazz, a capella, and, come November, Christmas music!
