About Me

Lifelong student who enjoys learning in the everyday classroom.

My interests are postcards (any kind), typography, letterpress, bicycles, books, documentaries, notebooks, postage stamps, and office supplies :)

I really appreciate anything you took the time to do as time is such a rare commodity for everyone.

** To earn a little credibility before I get rated here, I have been an active participant at postcrossing.com -- same ID.

Favorite Books

Old school novels by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters; Mary Stewart's Arthurian legend; girly chic lit by author du jour -- current favorite Jen Lancaster.

Really random stuff

I live on a working cattle ranch in Texas ... cliche to the finest except I do not ride a horse anywhere :) so my family believes my postcards help me escape during the fun moments involved with hot summers and grumpy livestock!

Comment: Thanks so much for your postcard!!! Harry and Ginny are really cute on it :) I also really like Ginny and especially the way her character was developed so much in the books! Also my favourite character would probably be Draco Malfoy mostly because I do feel sorry for him and how he is pressured into the things he does because of his parents. As for Terry Pratchett (my other author love!!) and also speaking of Harry Potter, I think David Thewlis would make a pretty smashing Rincewind actually. He's got a certain... look about him that I find especially perfect for the wizzard. :)

You made me feel all warm, good, and fuzzy when I opened the pkg. that you sent to me. When I didn't hear from you I just figured you had enough people that wanted them. Thank you so much. I really like the book.
