I am a sewing/crafting obsessed mum to 3 small boys, 8, 5 and 3. I craft for my sanity and because I must!. LOL.I am in the process of establishing a business selling my handmade goods but love the idea of swapping them for others handmade creations. I craft daily, deciding what to do on the spur of the moment usually unless I have a special order to fill. I need to have my little "fix" even if it is only small.

I like pretty much any music except for heavy agressive stuff. I enjoy Indie pop, Classical, lounge, Reggae, Show tunes, not so much the repetitive top 40 stuff. Independant bands.

I enjoy reading and read every day, mainly thrillers but also a bit of Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I always have a craft book or two on the go as well, I love learning new techniques and trying out patterns.

I love beautifully illustrated children's books particularly vintage ones or ones that are slightly unusual.

Movie ? Whats that?. It's honestly so long since I've been to the movies I don't know anymore LOL. Unless you count kids movies. We do get the occasional DVD, usually an action movie or a thriller. Most of what I watch these days is "The Wiggles" or similar although "Thunderbirds" is big at the moment.

Lost, Heroes, James May's Toy Story, Desperate Housewives. Any new or interesting documentaries that are on. I tend to work in front of the telly so I actually don't end up watching much of it anyway.

Everything - oh except I don't really knit (it just gets too hot here to be dealing with all that fluffy stuff) and I've only tried crochet once. I love to sew, emboider, applique, have tried a little quilting and beading/jewellerymaking. I also paint. These days I mainly sew children's items, softie/plushie toys and bags.

I love anything vintage/retro , fabrics with gorgeous colours and a simple bold design. I love purple, hot pink, emerald green - all the jewell colours, turquoise and any blues. I try to only use natural fabrics but I also like using vintage/reclaimed fabrics so can't always pick what they are if I like the design. I am also a big fan of Amy Butler, Robert Kaufman and any gorgeous quilting cottons similar in style.

I troll second hand shops regularly for gorgeous buttons and findings. I have a small collection of vintage linen. I try to only buy handmade for gifts these days - anything that I can't or don't make myself.

Little purses and pouches made from beautiful fabric. Can't have enough of those.

Bookmarks - can't have enough of those either.

Anything vintage or vintage inspired.

Handmade cards - although I don't really make them myself, just like buying and receiving them. Anything special and unique

Beautiful beads especially unique handmade ones so I can make myself some more jewellery - love that!.

Softie/plushie toys and unusual rag dollls

Anything made from beautiful timber sa long as it's not too "country" - simple understated design
