I'll be 30 this year (2014) I have 2 little boys, 3.5 and 15 months. They are boy, that is for sure! We have a mico mini farm on 1/3 of an acre and raise sheep, chickens, and hopefully have a decent garden once the boys are bigger. I run a bath and body business to help supplement our income. I was a high school history teacher.
In general I like just about anything, there isn't much I don't like. I prefer chocolate to sticky candy, coffee to tea. I like color and smell and all the things typical women like. No serious allergies.
I am absolutely an anti - junk person and will prefer to swap consumable things with people. I have gotten several decorative non consumable things from people in swaps and I have kept them because they were well thought out.
I feel like I have really fell out of touch with loving music. Sadly, I enjoy pop. I'm so ashamed to say that. I enjoy lots of 90s music as well. Eric Clapton, Melissa Ethridge, and all those "Alternative" bands when that was a thing. I was too young missed really loving Nirvana but I like them.
The Beatles have always been a favorite.
The history person in me loves a memoir. I read so many in college I can't remember any of them with my mom brain. I loved "A million little things" and am really sad it was fiction, then again I'm glad most of it didn't happen to him. Cupcake Brown was a great book but it was a disturbing read. I've gotten into Outlander. I'm behind in that but I read when I can. I've recently started a devotional and I'm really trying to dedicate part of my day to God. I've been a Christian for a long time, but not a very good one in practice.
Who doesn't love a good French film? Amelie, Life is Beautiful, and some more. Since having children I haven't had the luxury of being very cultural. I'll be working on this.
Suspenseful action, psychological thrillers are always a go to genre.
Downton Abby, Orange is the new Black, Law and Order, Miranda. I always watch things binge fashion since we don't have cable. I wait until its on Amazon / Netflix / Hulu and then I watch it all at once. I think this is becoming the norm though. Maybe?
SOAP SOAP SOAP I love soap. I also make an assortment of other bath and body items. Candles are fun. We also make dryer balls with the wool from our sheep. I once upon a time did a LOT of knitting. I can spin, but not very well. I like vinyl crafting, but not so much into paper. Maybe I'll join a card swap so I can make some cool cards.
The most fun thing about swapping is meeting new people and being exposed to new fun things.
I like just about anything, and I'd love anything that you are into or that you make!
