I am a retired School Bus Transportation Director, (finally) living in Rochester, NY with two dogs, a corgi and a pound puupy, three cats, two Scottish Folds and a big black regular cat, and a parrot, an Eclectus named Sophia. Sophia is very beautiful and very chatty.

I love my Ipod - I say that all the time.......it has country, Edith Piaf, Sousa Marches. Donovan, Neil Diamond .....are you getting the idea now? As I am in my sixties, I am in sort of a timewarp sometimes, lots of oldies.

I read all the time. Mysteries, legal thrillers, fantasy (like Harry Potter), fiction. I go to Barnes and Noble, make lists of all the new books I want to rea, and then reserve them! (I always buy a book so I am not a complete moocher.

I think I do not love as many television shows as I do books! Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewife, Bones, House, Survivor, Damages, Dirt, the Shield, 24, Hotel Babylon, all of these I would not miss and would record if I were not at home.

I am a knitter........I knit a lot. I think I like to make sweaters bests, but I have made socks, the Colinette afghan, scarves. Like many knitters, my stash could probsbly never be used up ) because I keep adding to it more thanI take out. Right now I am liking handpainted yarsn, but the ones that are only one color. Also, Cascade 220, Ella Rae, Reynolds Whiskey, come to mind. I find I buy mohair, but I don't like to knit with it very much (go figure). I am now working on my first lace shawl. If I live a very long time I may have it finished in time to be buried in it! I love soft colors.

I am a computer junky. I love to garden. I like to go to the casino. I do a lot of volunteer work, I am having trouble accustoming myself to not having to do something.
