I'm Mom to 3 kids. Married for 20 years. The kids are 10, 12 and 13 so we're right in the thick of school activities....one soccer player, one cheerleader and one cross country runner. Just your average family including a dog, guinea pig and rabbit. About that dog......I'm a huge dog lover. I like pictures of dogs, postcards of dogs, stories about your dog, dog stationery etc...well, you get the idea. :)

I live in Cincinnati but that was obvious from my username, no? I've always lived in the United States. I've done a bit of travelling....but not enough.

Hmmm...I'm usually not at a loss of words but this profile stuff is always a bit tricky. I'm sure I'll think of more and soon it'll be so wordy, it'll be out of control. :)

I love postcards. Most all postcards. Naked or in an envelope is fine. I haven't dabbled in mail art yet but I'm gathering up my creative ideas and pondering on it.

I really love letter writing, so fun to meet new people.It's my main reason for being here. I usually have a quick turnaround and love to keep the letters going back and forth .I'd love to hear from you! Send me a private message and we can trade addresses.

My mailbox also prefers not to be trampled. So please send those types of things to those swappers who appreciate them.

Moving this to the bottom of the page....because I'm a very upbeat person and this post is a bit of a bummer. But not quite ready to delete it in case the ghost of grace or mercy decide to do a little number swapping on me again. Because number swapping is unfair & a bummer!

I joined a single postcard swap and sent mine off on 9/7. The deadline was 9/12.

-9/26 My partner rated me a 1 without ever contacting me or letting me know there was a problem. I reply to the rating & mention that I wish she would have contacted me & I would have fixed the problem..

-9/27 morning she changes it to a 5 as she waits for me to offer to resend.

-9/27 evening I log on, offer to resend & then resend the postcard. 9/27 night she changes the rating to 1 because I took too long to reply. Then she tells me to have a blessed day.

-9/28...she changes me to a 5 because she say's she's full of grace & mercy.

-9/30 .morning..she changes me back to a 1 because apparently grace & mercy is a limited time offer & my pc mailed 3 whole days ago has not arrived.

So...that's my 1 rating. I'd like to clear it up. But right now....with this partner...eh, wish me luck!

-9/30..evening. Another change! Looks like the mail runs twice a day at her house. I suspect the meds also run twice a day there.... Lucky me! The postcard has arrived. Either Grace or maybe it's Mercy has now given me a 3.

....And now it's a 5 again. For those of you w/scorecards.....that's 7 rating changes for a single postcard swap. But she's included blessed days, grace, mercy & smiley faces :) so it's all good, right?
