About Me

I am a Special Ed. teacher who teaches preschoolers with significant language and behavior delays. For the time being, they are like my kids and I love each one dearly. I love working on fabric and bead art in my spare time. I make hand bound journals as gifts too. I have an amazing community from my family and my local church.

I have a German Shepard/Black Lab mix dog who is amazing. He's a 4 year old rescue that was horribly abused his first two years of life. He's a true gem so support your local shelters and go out and find a gem of your own.

I like pop/dance type music like LadyGaGa and Beyonce's upbeat stuff. We have a weekly dance party in my class :) I also like country both old and new and electronic music.

Anne of Green Gables is my all time favorite book--she is a true kindred spirit. I also adored the Twilight books. I read mostly mysteries or sci-fi/fantasy--if there isn't something for me to figure out I tend to get bored.

This is a fluid list that I will add to as I think of more things *I LOVE candy--Dark chocolate, gummi candy, jelly babies, twizzlers, dots, etc... *I DO NOT like white chocolate *I like blue, green, and purple *I DO NOT like red or orange *I like reading *I like black and white photos AND sepia tone photos *I like playing games like Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit *I DO NOT like mushrooms or olives *I DO NOT like caffiene *I like tea, especially fruit flavors *I like ceramic and glass beads but NOT plastic.
