Born in Scotland, emigrated to Canada in 1961. Have three children and 3 grandsons and 1 grand daughter, all gorgeous! I'm retired and enjoying it. In the summer I plant tomatoes, beans, lettuce, and flowers on my 40' balcony. In the winter I do lots of crafts and geneology. I've love being Nana to my grandkids and I was so happy after three little boys to get a lovely grand daughter. She, along with her big brother and parents live north of Montreal. We visit back and forth, it's a nice trip by train from Toronto.
I do lots of crafts, mainly crazy quilting at the moment, but also knit, sew and crochet. I do lots of cake decorating. I love to travel and visit Florida twice a year when it's cold up here.
My favourite colours are pink and pale blue but I also like the jewel tones like turquoise, burgundy and purple. Orange isn't a favourite to wear, but I used a lot of orange/red decorating my living/dining room. There are lots of flowers in my life: flowered wallpaper, photos, a painting, handmade sugar flowers for cakes, lots of silk ribbon embroidery flowers and flowers on my balcony in the summer. I also love angels and have many bead embroidered angels in my crazy quilting. Also lots of angel atcs. There's not much I don't like except I have a real aversion to butterflies and moths. OK things I like are dragonflies and ladybirds(bugs) and spiders. But not butterflies!
