Favorite Television

Up until recently, never really watched much TV, now with a home office, it is on constantly for background noise!

I love Hot in Cleveland and watching the older shows on Nick at Night and TV Land. I'm a sucker for the Hallmark movies. Recently began watching the Food Network (and actually began cooking again) and am slowly getting addicted to shows like The View, The Chew, Rachael and Ellen. I feel like I have company the days I am alone in the office!

Favorite Crafts

Love to cross stitch and needlepoint. Would love to learn how to crochet granny squares (I know a little crochet).

I also love rubberstamping and scrapbooking. Wish there were more hours in the day!

About Me

I'm the mother of twin girls who are in college (they were micro-preemies) who are my miracles.

I am currently looking for a new opportunity in terms of work. Check back to see where I land!

I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new people here!

Favorite Music

No real favorites - love classical, jazz, pop, rock and roll, some country etc. I have been fortunate to work a lot of local concerts (mainly jazz, some others) so have a wide variety of tastes.

Love Broadway - wish the tickets weren't so expensive!

Favorite Movies

The American President is one of my all time favorites. I'm also a sucker for Dirty Dancing, Pretty Women and all the holiday movies on Hallmark Channel!

Likes

I love trying different teas however, please no mint or very spicy teas (like Good Earth). I love different black teas and only drink the fruity ones iced. I love chocolate and fight my daughters for it!

I love to bake, would rather do that over cooking. But, I have been watching Food Network more, so am becoming more comfortable cooking "real food", but since I'm alone during the week while my daughters are at school, I cook very little, and very simply!

I like most colors, but don't like wearing yellow or orange. My favorites are blues and purples.

I love butterflies and penguins. One of my daughters collects sock monkeys (and is having a ball with all the accessories that are being made now!).

I love to read and love different bookmarks.
