Hi I am 45, divorced and living with my 14 year old daughter, in real life I am a lecturer (aka college professor) in engineering, craft keeps me sane! We live in a little village in the west of Ireland, the lack of craft shops and bookshops carrying craft books, frustrates me. But it means that I have excuses to shop on ebay and amazon.

I try and craft every day as I love so many different types of craft, sometimes I get paralysed by all of the things I want to do. Because cool fabric and craft supplies generally are difficult to find here, I tend to shop when I am overseas, and hoard. I've recently been going through my stash and I have fabric that I've bought nearly 20 years ago....so i am seriously destashing now!

I love to swap, personal swaps and organised swaps are such fun, it makes getting post a lot more interesting than the usual bills. I spent a lot of time on craftster and do a lot of craft swapping on there, you can find me as edelc there.

My first love is sewing, but I also do a lot of paperarts and make jewellery, (if you count cooking and making cocktails as craft...then there is a lot of that too!) I quilt, do some book binding, scrapbooking, paint, stencil, etc etc

Current and/or All Time Favorite Bands: Impossible to say, I like to sing so anything I can sing along to, from Queen, to carpenters, Mika, josh groban, 80s stuff, soppy long songs, pink, pretty much anything that has a strong melody line.

Current and/or All Time Favorite Books: Jane Eyre, Old fashioned childrens stories, harry potter, non-fiction....books that make me think,

Current and/or All Time Favorite TV Shows: Dont watch much TV, anything that makes me laugh, simpsons, friends, only fools and horses, last of the summer wine, Muppet show, Buffy, House,
