Oooh I don't know about myself. I am my favorite topic, but I lothe to say anything FOR SURE about myself.
I guess I like to be open to new experiences and ways of seeing and being seen. I find the most interesting new things that way.
I am open to listen to whatever, and like to get lost in my hosts exuberance for their own favorites.
When I am alone I gravitate towards music that draws from many different sources. For example Wax Tailor or Unkle.
I like objective books that let me sample different cultures or ways of looking at culture.
I like anything by Margaret Mead (a great Anthropologist from before the world got small).
I love The Imitation Factor (It talks about cultural evolution, cultural genes or "memes", and how culture can affect our DNA though partner choice and life choice).
I love The Goofy Foot Guide to Sex ( it has a relaxed and refreshing attitude towards errmmmm and its a very complete guide).
I love Edna St Vincent Millay (Poetry) because she was not afraid to write frankly even when it was taboo.
I love foreign films! This is mainly because I do not like violence, but I am happy to see artistic sexuality.
European ratings boards are very opposite of ours in the states.
Ours give very harsh ratings for any sexual content (I think they count the number of thrusts!), especially female orgasm and same gender sex. Ours also allow gross amounts of violence, and murder.
European films are quite the opposite. Rarely do I have to witness violence which I consider unnatural to society, yet I do get to see complex sexual interfacing which I definitely consider part of society.
A few examples are: Like Water for Chocolate The Last Mistress Amelie
I don't own a TV and I don't want one!
However I do sometimes watch some television shows on netflix. I like the canceled series Firefly and the movie which finished the story Serenity.
Oooh I am always getting into something new.
I like doing anything I can do well. I was interested in quilting for years but never able to get a foothold as I lacked the skill, that is, until I was introduced to YOYO quilting.
So, basically, I like to try new things, but not things that take serious skill since I am a beginner.

Hi, I'm one of your partners from the 1 More Time Christmas Card swap. If you could rate me when you get a chance that would be great. Thanks!
I wanna say they are about 2x3.5. So close, but no touche'. It doesn't bug me personally - but others may because they like to slip them into the baseball card sleeves, and these slip out quite easily. I put 2 in a sleeve, so they don't on mine, and it doesn't bug me at all. Smile! They are neat! And you did a great job!
Hi there!
Can't wait for your swap!!
Melissa
