I'm here because I like to craft, I started with flip books, then tried letter wallets, envelope flip books, pocket letters, zines, accordion wallets, handmade junk journals and postcards and so far only one ATC.
I like to try new crafts but like them to revolve around sending a letter. :)
I saw a YouTube video of a lady making snail mail and she mentioned the website. I love to send things to people to lift their day; Happy Mail. I send cards/letters/gifts to my Mum regularly, and to a few friends, however only my Mum sends things back to me, as she really enjoys it. When I heard about Swap-bot I suddenly realised there was a whole world of people that like to do the same thing and I couldn't wait to join.
My Interests: I pick up different crafts and run with them for a few months, always dipping back into previous crafts. I like to film sometimes and upload it to my YouTube channel.
My Likes: Positive things, helpful things, colourful things, useful things.
Me: I am a tall gal, 6'1" and have always felt like I don't quite fit in, from when I was at play-group, to School and then in the workplace. I am the odd one out, but I'm finding my place slowly. I married in June 2018 and my husband and I support each other a great deal.
My Faith: Yes I have a faith, let's just say it is 'with me, in me and for me'.
Anyway, that's all I think you really need to know about me for now, but message me if you want any specifics for a direct swap etc.
Take care and remember 'be-leaf In Yourself' xx
Watercolours. Pastel Colours, items with gold or silver pattern. Pink, Yellow, Mint Green, Sky Blue, Peach, Gold gilding - but not limited to these, I love colour! I've started to like the neutral colours that Jordan Clark uses in her blogs, very calming.
Foxes, Squirrels, Dogs, Stags, Bunnies, Mice.
Standard Tea, Chai Latte, Caramel Coffee, Vanilla, Gingerbread, Cherry Bakewell. I'm not big on fruit teas but I'll try a one-off. My new fav' is Turkish Sweet Apple Tea.
Letters that tell me about you and how life has shaped you to be who you are today, or just how your day or week has been shaping up.
Pink & White Twine, scrap pieces of watercolour paper or unusual paper, small botanical or vintage clear stamps, lace or little material offcuts, cut-outs of colourful birds or flowers.
For some reason Royal Mail Post Offices don't stock picture stamps any more, so please know that if I am sending to you, my stamps are likely to be either the Queens Head or a PO standard postage sticker & maybe one or two picture stamps that I can get hold of through other sellers.
Biggest Hugs Em. x
