I am an art-teacher (teach 59 children), I live in Belgium, my english is not that good but I will do my best. I try to paint 3 evenings a week (big paintings) but I draw every day. I have a lot of filled up little sketchbooks. I love to send en receive original things. Receiving something made from the heart is the best thing I can Imagine. Nothing makes me feel better than making feel good. So I read carefully your profile and put a lot of time to find the perfect swap for you.
I like:
-Old things.
-All kind of pencils( also old and used ones) -sharpies (we don't have them here)
-Little boxes,
-I am a collector of little plastique figures and second hand toys and rubber stamps. I started to carve my own stamps (and I love to receive a hand carved stamp by you)
-Birds, deers tapirs and bears
-Kitschy retro plastic stupid things for fun
-Animal shaped buttons or buttons with figures (no words)
-Note and 'sketchbooks'
-Plastic colorful jewelry (or something happy)
-a pen from your country
-Brooches
-Tote bags
-Washi tape
-Pictures, even those which are not well taken 'I mean mistakes
-Mark Ryden his art
-Y. Nara his art
Recently I discovered the Japanese Washi tape and I am fond of it!!!
I am searching for a chinese stamp like the one they put on the bottom in red on a painting or artwork
All the colors are my favorite, especially the bright ones. And retro orange and bright olive green, lime green.and mint
It would be nice to have a look at your workspace, so a picture of that is more than welcome
My favorite youth book is 'alleen op de wereld' Alone at the world but I read a lot, so there are many favorite books. I have a lot of illustration books and my own sketch book is always with me.
I like knit work and crocheting and embroidery made by others because I don't have the patience to learn it. Everything to do with paint and ink and old paper things are my favorites too. And I love illustrated envelopes. When I have a black pen or pencil I can be silent for days:-)
Maybe there is someone for a private swap... A handmade crochet/knIting/sew-item for a nice drawing (you can tell me what theme you like or send a picture of your animal and I will try to make an artwork for you). If you are interested please let me know. I would like to share something of my art-discipline for yours
I don't like 3Dhandmade cards and scrapbooking cards but I do like collage, drawings and paintings. Also not so fond of disney characters, hearts and the color gold

Hi there, I"m trying to go back and track the origins of my swap items. Would you please let me know the name of your city in Belgium? Thanks so much. Hope all is well
Hi, just to let you know that I have not received anything for Profile Surprise #22 (non-USA swap) yet. Hate to rate you a 1 without checking with you... :(
I just wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry that it's taken me so long to write you and thank you for the wonderful, wonderful package you sent me! I have been so ill and have not really done a whole lot here for the last few weeks. I'm still not completely well, but I really did not want to put this off again. I absolutely enjoyed everything! I LOVE, LOVE, the book of chickens and I keep it on my favorite bookshelf. I couldn't possibly tear that book apart so my plan is to make some copies of some of my fave chickens and make some tags for my mom and daughter. I love the art work you sent and have them where I can see them - i'm guessing that you did them? The artbook journal is really awesome, and I really love the horses(burros?). I have the pink quartz on my tv in my bedroom and is one of the first things I see in the morning and the mixed stone necklace is something I wear ALL THE TIME. It's so easy to dress up my work clothes or my weekend wear by just throwing that on and it makes me happy throughout the day. I had a red bauble that I put on it and I wore it so much I broke the bauble. Saturday I was really feeling terrible and the first thing I reached for after I finally got dressed was your necklace and immediately felt a little better. YOU are a gem. The antique lace you sent is special and when I'm finally feeling better I plan to use some of it to make Christmas stockings for my mom, daughter and granddaughters (3 yrs and 6 yrs). Of course, plans may change and I might save it for something special for me. I'm sorry you're having trouble with your swaps. I sent one to someone in Belgium and she didn't get my first package after a wait of almost 2 months and the 2nd package she got right away. I don't know what the problem was, although to be honest I was a little leery because she said that she wanted to reimburse me for the postage and asked for my bank account information so that she could reimburse me. Needless to say I didn't send her that info, but I wonder if she did get the first one and just said she didn't to get a second package and then do the scam? I didnt report her, and am still wondering if I should have. That is the only time I've ever had those type of issues with international swaps. The biggest issue is that sometimes it takes FOREVER for the swaps to get to where I send them, hence the two month wait for that swap to Belgium. Well, you take care and I hope to swap with you again soon!
for joining THANK YOU SWAP-BOT! swap! Γ’β’Β₯
:( That is so disappointing that you haven't received my package. I sent it about 1 1/2 months ago. I hope that it will eventually arrive. You received my last package almost immediately!
I'm having a lot of issues with swapping lately. I love creating swaps for people, but they either aren't arriving (which I cannot understand, because I sent them out myself) or people are not marking them as received... :(
Hi Emmel, I was wondering if you received my most recent package? I sent you a little crochet purse that I made, but I haven't heard anything about it... It wasn't part of any swap. It was just to say "thank you". I went to your profile to be able to write this message and I saw that you are also having issues with SwapBot. I have not heard about at least 4 things i have sent to various people, and I'm wondering what's going on??
Ohh Emmel. I received your package today and it made me cry such happy tears!! I wasn't expecting it :) I love everything you sent. Of course I will write you back. Thank you so much for your kind words. You're an amazing person and I am so glad to have met you! xxx Nancy
You will never believe what arrived at my old house in Spain yesterday.....your original Pink Mail Art envelope!!! Belgium sent it back with a sticker that my Spanish boyfriend tried to translate, something about it not being received by the recipient?? Well, at leas the post office gnomes didn't steal it!
Hi Emmel, I am SO HAPPY that you liked the swap!!! I had so much fun putting it together for you. xxxxx
Emmel, I am so glad that you enjoyed everything that I sent you! I really had so much fun with this for you! I hope we get to swap again and will be in touch for sure!
