Greetings! I l-o-v-e crafting! If it holds still long enough, I craft with it. :) Quilting, painting, collage, jewelry, embellished purses and clothing, crocheted scarves, fleece blankets, hair accessories, scrap booking, floral arrangements, etc. I am the ultimate impatient crafter...I like things to be fairly quick, but fabulous when finished. Part of that is because I am a mom of two awesome kids, a full time elementary school music teacher, a new wife, and business owner with my mom. Time is super valuable, so my projects need to fit into my schedule and have great results.

I'm a music teacher, so truly love all different styles of music. Dancing is the best, so anything with a beat really gets me tapping my feet and smiling. :)

I am lucky enough to live across the river from Portland, Oregon which has quite possibly one of the best book stores EVER...that's right, Powell's City of Books. It's huge, and the selection of new and used books is amazing. I could get lost in there for days. Last weekend, I picked up several books on collage and mixed-media artwork which is a direction I am hoping to take my own creative endeavors.

I am a hopeless romantic, and love both romantic movies and great old classic musicals. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is one of my favorites. Movie night with my kids though, is the best. We just saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and spent the whole time cuddling and laughing. :D

Tuesday night is TV night...dirty jobs, NCIS, and chopped. Doesn't get any better than that. (Unless it's Ghost Hunters on Wednesday. Hmmm)
