Hi,

I'm a single mom of one university student and I work full-time! We have a little Chihuahua who is such a sweetie and so much fun!

I love to read, decorate (I'm now into "prim"), and we love to travel! In the past couple of years we've been to Mexico, Cuba, New Orleans, and Paris!!

I love scents like vanilla, pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves etc.. food/spicy scents. My new favourite hand lotion is "Ginger Vanilla" from Bath & Body Works.. yummmmm. I like to melt wax tarts or jar candles rather than burn candles.

I love country music.. mainly the new stuff but some of the old as well.

Crafts that I like to make include candle mats, homespun/muslin/flannel dish towels (decorative), stitcheries, cinnamon dough bowl fillers, rag balls, faux snowballs, ornies, wax tarts, fabric pumpkins, "rusted" switchplates, flameless candles, etc... and I love them scented, grungied and grubby!

I also purchase items that I don't make myself, such as fabric dolls, bowl fillers, etc.

I like to take old things and make them look prim, usually with paint, sanding and staining... such as dressers, cabinets, wooden bowls, spoons, picture frames, shelves, shutters, old windows, etc. I like to take things and repurpose them into something else.

I love to decorate and am not afraid of colour on my walls!

I love quilts, braided rugs, pine furniture, punched tin lamps & shades, Raggedy Ann, snow people :), crows, gingerbread people, antiques (I have a Hoosier, a one-room schoolhouse desk, an oak dresser I use by the front door, a wash stand, and an old sewing machine cabinet); I also like old Crown mason jars and flameless candles, old windows, shutters and wooden doors, painted wooden bowls, Treenware, etc.

My wish list includes a dry sink, crock bench, wooden ice box, old wood-burning stove, pie safe, stove board and bowl rack.
