Hi! I'm from the Nice Comment #2 swap! I love tulips too - I just wish they had a longer season of availability :( I can only find them in flower shops here for about 1 month in the spring. They're the perfect thing to help you think of spring being around the corner - even when there's still snow on the ground (in Canada we'll have snow still on the ground sometimes in April/May!).
I'd like to say hi and leave a nice comment for the swap. I saw you're from Joplin. I hope it's a different one than the one that got struck by devastating tornado's. If so, I hope that you and your loved ones are ok, and I'm wishing you loads of courage for the time to come.

My neighbor recently tried to teach me how to make granny squares, but I'm a slow learner, ha. Since I'm from the Netherlands, I do like black liccorise. Here we love it and eat loads of it :).

Hi Jacque! Just stopping by for the "Leave a Nice Comment" Swap. I too have never traveled outside the US, but really want to as well. Some of the places you mentioned are on my travel wishlist as well. I think it's really cool that you also want to learn how to speak another language, dance the tango, etc. It's rare that you meet people who have goals for achievements like that in their lives. Also nice choice of music, Elton John was my very first concert! :)
