Just wanted to say hello and hope you had a wonderful holiday. I am sorry I wasn't around for the last few poetry ATC swaps. I was so busy with school, etc. I can't wait for the January one, though. :)
Loved the place mats you made for us for breakfast, we now will take them on picnics with us. The hats, water and cooler were a nice addition to our tour. Although we lived in NC for 2 years, we had never taken that tour, so it was a nice surprise to go on. It made us see the destruction the city took form Hurricane Irene and the damage that was still there from it. We saw several huge trees that had fallen on the historic homes and do not know how they were ever going to get them off the homes. We are still in the process of having the damage done to our home fixed. Not from the hurricane but from shoddy workmanship when they were putting on the roof knowing that rain was coming and didn't take the precautions-ceilings came down, four rooms had water damage and our beautiful new hardwood floors have to be redone. We will be going out to eat at the Chelsea soon. It is a wonderful restaurant, and I know we will enjoy it. Sorry it took so long to reply. The monies you spent on this date were definitely to much, although we have enjoyed everything you did. I know this is a bit late, but thank you ever so much for what you did for us. Shirley
