My mom lived through the bombings of London in WWII and she learned to, "do and make do". I inherited a lot of her ideas, tips and ideals so recycling comes easily for me. I get enthusiastic when visiting our local thrift shops because it is always "the thrill of the hunt" for me.

I have so much fun opening all of my swaps. Everything is a treasure. I get all excited with even the smallest items.

I crochet, craft, glue and press flowers and do just a little hand stitching. I love lace, ribbon, fabric, buttons, charms, all kinds of little embellishments, flowers and feathers, I could go on and on. I am very big on paper napkin decoupage. I always need a new napkin for my stash.

I love all colours, shabby chic, vintage and recycling. I adore anything I can't do - knitting, quilting, jewelry making, silk ribbon embroidery, etc.

I love flowers, nature, silly little things, dogs, cats, horses, white chocolate, walking my little minpin, spring and autumn, making new friends, getting packages in the mail. I am a coffee drinker but sure love to have a nice cup of English Breakfast tea in the quiet of the afternoon.

I just want everyone to be happy and do what they love to do.

As for material things - just about everything!

Anything listed in favorite crafts above, novelty buttons of all kinds, embellishments and napkins. I don't need to have all top quality, brand name for my crafting.
