Hello there! My name's Christi, and I'm a SAHM of 4 in Northern Indiana. I'm currently on two different scrapbooking design teams and love creating lots of different types of art, from ATCs to home decor!

I LOVE all things vintage, and thrift stores are one of my favorite places to shop. I especially like to repurpose old items for something new....I have my acrylic stamps in an antique bread box, I've turned an old broiler pan into a magnet board for my wall, and my fabric is stored in a wonderfully vintage picnic basket. My craft room is quite an eclectic mix of vintage and new, and I'm totally and completely happy in this space!

I've taken part in swaps on several message boards, but never on Swap-Bot, and I'm excited to give it a try! You can check out my blog or my etsy store to get an idea of my style....hope to share a swap with you! :)

I'm a HUGE Stephen King fan, have been since the age of 11! I have all his books, some first editions, even magazines with his stories and comics based on his Dark Tower series! Yes, you're allowed to call me obsessed....hey, he and I even share the same birthday! How cool is that?!!

I used to watch WAY too much television, and I haven't watched ANY since the writer's strike. My favorite is The Office! I make sure to buy those on DVD as soon as they come out. I also like Scrubs, House, CSI, ER, Law & Order SVU, My Name is Earl, Monk, Psyche, and cartoons like Spongebob, Chowder, and Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends!

My favorites are paper crafting (scrapbooking, ATCs, cards, etc), but I also love altering items and I'm always trying new things! Here are some crafts I've enjoyed: quilting, crocheting, jewelry making, beading, needle felting, crosstitch, sewing, decoupage, painting....

I LOVE coffee!! Not Starbucks, just regular ol' Folgers with some Hazelnut creamer. I drink a pot every day, and I'm probably giving myself ulcers. I collect coffee-related items. I love chocolate as long as it's not polluted by coconut or fruit. I love our planet and do my best to use recycled items and buy from thrift stores first. I also love owls....the cute, whimsically fat ones NOT the scary, weird-eyed ones. :) I like vintage ephemera of all types. I like old buttons. I love the color brown. I prefer old and vintage to brights or pastels. I like grungy stuff, ink and paint.
