My name is Katarina, I'm 26 years old living and working as a software engineer in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally I grew up in Norrkoping and studied engineering physics for 5 years in Gothenburg, so I've only lived here for a few months.

During weekends I often go to visit my parents in Norrkoping, especially if my brother comes home from Gothenburg too, so that we can be together all of us. We recently bought a boat together, so we have spent part of summer exploring the Swedish archipelago. I'll try to post some picture soon, because the archipelago is one of the most beautiful parts of Swedish nature.

I love crafts and I've collected stationery/letter sets for more than 10 years, which is the main reason why I joined this site. I used to participate in stationery swaps long time ago, but then I had to put it aside in favour of my studies.

In my spare time, I'm likely to be found in my own little workshop fiddling with paper, glue and paint. If not, I'm probably in someone else's workshop fiddling around with paper, glue and paint. Mostly I stick to cardmaking, scrapbooking and altering boxes, books, journals and things like that. I tend to use stamping techniques quite a lot, since I simply can't get enough of new cool stamp motifs. Typically my works tend to be vintage flavoured, or slightly shabby chic, a bit inspired by Tim Holtz.

Painting is another favourite, mostly acrylic or watercolours. However sometimes I feel brave, and try sewing. During summer I made no less than 7 cake plushies. That was fun. :) I'm a true cute-a-holic, and I can't seem to get enough of silly cute japanese goods either - especially food or snacks related items or lolita/decora/gothic stuff.

Other than crafts, I'm into a great variety of subjects such as history, politics, literature, science & technology, film and music. Some of the artists I listen to are Kent (Swedish band), Bright Eyes, Benny Goodman, Wilco, Red House Painters, Depeche Mode, Billie Holiday, Suede, the Smiths, Belle & Sebastian, Chet Atkins, the Magnetic Fields and lots more.

As for films, my very favourite is probably Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Also, I like Star Wars, Lord of the Ring Trilogy, Asian horror, Tristram Shandy - A Cock and Bull Story, Tim Burton movies, Amélie, Nikita, Pulp Fiction and a bunch of others I don't recall at the moment.

I live in Sweden, which means it takes approximately 3-4 days for letters or packages to arrive within Europe and 7-8 days for the rest of the world. I always send my packages airmail, to avoid weeks of waiting.
