hey there!

my name is Mimi and I love it when the postman brings parcels! I'm a fashion designer/maker, doodler and lover of random stuff living in Ramsgate, Kent and I joined here because I love the idea of sending/recieving random lovliness from around the globe!!

ive been into fashion since i was a kid, i love the more extreme theatrical side rather than simple style and i always love finding new designers/photographers to look at.

Some of my favourite things...owls, old scary movies, postcards from other countries, pretty stamps, cats,pugs, kitsch/ cute charms and trinkets that i can incorporate into my jewellery designs, stationary (especially notebooks and stickers) dinosaurs and pirates,i'm not religious but LOVE religious art (I have quite a collection of triptychs and postcards collected from churches/convents), anything vintage/retro and anything that makes you go HUH!!!!

i love going on random adventures, browsing galleries, museums and charity shops..and i collect what alot of people would call tat, but i see them as little momentoes of places ive been or the mood i was in that day!

i love meeting other creative people and seeing what they create, and id love to recieve some really unique bits and bobs on here x

I am obsessed with all things 80s....Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the banshees, Blancmange, ultravox...and the really cheesy stuff is always fun to do housework to!

I also love punk, goth and disco...basically as long as it has a good beat..I'll listen to it!!

I've always been one of those creative types...I love the buzz you get when you see your idea made reality. So my faves in no particular order... illustration (not very well) jewellery/dressmaking collages photography
