Swapbot friends! I am taking a leave from swapbot for a while. I will miss the fun- especially the swaps that send to those who are sick or suffering a time of hardship. I believe the Lord is sending me in a different directon at this time. I will check my messages now and then. My apologies to the Canadian Swappers which I had recently joined, and to the other groups.

I am a married mother of two grown children.
I work weekends at an Abbeyfield House, which is a senior's residence.I consider all ten of them my friends. I am a christian and enjoy church worship and activities. I love my three cats aged four to ten. I have a thirteen year old black pomeranian, two fat little goats and a pot bellied pig. I am part of a coffee group that trades ATC's and make greeting cards. I like all kinds of art and crafts, and enjoy reading biographys. I tend to like things associated with my youth, including retro tv programs such as Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island, Little House on the Prairie. (books too.) I like Star Trek, origional Star Wars, Disney Movies and Hanna Barbera cartoons and Sponge Bob too. Also Snoopy!Other shows like Grizzly Adams , Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy and Charlie Chaplan. My favorite reality show is America's Funniest Home Videos. I am enjoying Downton Abbey and like a lot of programs and films based on Jane Austen. Love the Jane Eyre series with Timothy Dalton. I love the Anne of Green Gables series of movies as well as the books by Lucy Maude Montgomery. I have read and enjoyed Janet Oke series , Mrs. Mike , and books by Debbie Macomber. I enjoy baking when I am in the mood, and trying new recipes from Country Woman Magazines. I love Reiman publications and my absolute favorite is Reminisce magazine. I like art and craft magazines like Cloth Paper Scissors, Stamping and Cardmaking, Somerset Studio, Crochet and Quilting. Also, Our Daily Bread magazine. I enjoy cardmaking magazines from the U.K.! My music taste is whatever I am in the mood for. I like oldies from the 50's to the 70's. Gospel, old and new, praise and worship music, Mantovani, country& western and John Denver. My tastes are wide and varied- so I am open to a variety of artist interpretation. Some items I am not as keen on receiving are, pentagrams, kokopelis, witches, buddha statues, unicorns,pornographic or overly violent/gory, themes. I am not into incense or patchouli or strong scented items. I like green teas, but not herbal tea. I love getting outside to walk the dog or bike ride in the summer where I can enjoy the birds singing and see deer, grouse, woodpeckers and hopefully no skunks! I live in a nice little town that is surrounded by mountains and lakes.We are not far from the Alberta border. I look forward to trading through swapbot!
