About Me

I live in Florida and work as the Christian Education Director at my church. I have one husband and three grown children (and their spouses) and 5 grand-pets. I have a new baby grandson named Calvin (for Calvin & Hobbes) and another one on the way. I love being a Grammie!

I like all different kinds of books. Some of my favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, and Janet Evanovich.

I watch a lot of TV and like many different shows: Mentalist, So You Think You Can Dance, Amazing Race, Smash, Project Runway, lots more!

I love scrapbooking and rubber stamping. My favorite art form is mixed media and I've done everything from ATCs to large canvasses. I love trying new techniques and getting new ideas. I'm not really into "cute" but I like just about anything that shows that some effort went into it.

I just received your RAK of ATCs and I am blown away by your talent and your generosity! It is an honor to receive your very first zentangle -- it is beautifully done and if you continue I'm sure that you will get hooked. Love the stained glass design and the beach nostalgia and the wonderful digitally manipulated photos. I will have to try printing on canvas -- very neat effect. My favorite is your "Never Dull" method - intriguing result and superb colors. Thank you for all of them -- they are a special addition to my collection. It was quite a pleasure meeting you in person -- hope we have a chance to do that again someday!
