Let me see, what do I like? Cooking, photography, movies, cultures, travelling. I'm the proud mother of two little girls, that keep me busy 24 hours. I've travelled a lot,but now my priorities have changed. Can't wait to get on the road again. I've discovered recently blogging,so that's something I occupy myself with. I like also to look around the house and find something to craft. I enjoy making handbags from jeans. I love life and I want to enjoy it! My motto: There's always a way! Everything has a solution!
As you can see,I'm new to swapping and I've done only tea swaps so far.I've been receiving very nice teas from my partners and they sent me more than we were supposed to .They also sent me notes or postcards. I'm learning from my partners and I'll get better and better. So far,if the swap said 3 tea bags I sent 3,now I know that it's ok to send more and add a few extras as well.
I decided to enter only the European swaps, since anything I receive from outside the European Union, goes through the customs, which means I have to pick it up from the post office (and they do it just once a week),pay a fee and have the customs officer open it up and ask stupid questions. To him, teabags were a way of hiding drugs, apparently. So,even though I'd love to receive things from the US especially,I'll have to give it up.
Scorpions,Ballads,Vicente Amigo,Santana
I miss going to garage sales or to a book depot and getting really cheap books. I used to live in Vancouver and my house was always full of books.Since I'm in Romania it's difficult to get my hands on books in English. I've donated all my books to some charity. The local library makes my cry everytime I go there. No more books to read!!! Very few selections. God bless the Internet, even though it s not the same as holding a book in my hands. I love cooking books, especilly the small ones with pictures.
Friends,National Geographic,Discovery Channel,
One of the letters I sent to my friend in the US made it in two months,an envelope to Germany in about two weeks,Wales took about ten days, I'm telling this just so you know what to expect,in case you're partnered up with me.

Welcome to swap-bot! If your profile was more filled out with likes, dislikes, a little about you and your hobbies... it'd be easier for people to get to know you.
Most swap hosts require a filled out profile, more than a line at least. Some swaps actually state as such in the info when you sign up, might say at least a paragraph, some might say several sections filled out. Need to really read carefully before joining.
When I filled mine out, I looked around at profiles of people who host swaps to see what theirs looked like :) Good luck!
