I live in the plains of Colorado with my husband and little girl. I love traveling, running, hiking, and swimming. I am a new SAHM. So, I am exploring all types of crafting. I am also trying out my green thumb. I am planting my first vegetable garden this year. We currently have no pets but we are looking for a dog to adopt.

I enjoy knitting and sewing. I also really want to start scrapbooking. However, right now I just like to buy scrapbook supplies. The next thing I would like to learn is how to quilt.

I do not have much time to read these days but when I do, I enjoy fiction books that are based on real places and events. I like reading murder/mystery books by Elizabeth Peters.

My favorite candy is rasinettes and dark chocolate. I love all kinds of movies; everything from the Goonies to Full Metal Jacket to Sense and Sensibility. I dont really have a favorite color but I like that dark red/orange color.
