About Me

I am a new mommy as of the 13th of November. My little boy (Christian) has hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and has already had two of three open-heart surgeries at 6 days old and 5 months old. He is my little superman. My husband is a first officer for Mesaba Airlines based in Minneapolis, MN. We live in the beautiful state of Oregon, but are looking forward to doing plenty of traveling. We have two dogs named Onyx and Porter, a cat named Lily and a 6 year old goldfish named SpongeBob.

Swap-Bot info: I ALWAYS SEND! If you do not receive from me, it must be lost in the mail and I will gladly resend. I love swapping and love receiving swaps from others. I hate to be so blunt about things, but I have been burned by other swappers not rating accordingly and it hurt my feelings. I work very hard on my swaps and hope that others will recognize that.

Favorite Music

I listen to a mix of everything. Country, 80's, pop, R&B and soft rock. As long as I can understand what's being said, I can handle it! I'm not too in to Opera, but find the classical instrumental music soothing.

Some of my favorites are Joan Jett, Pat Bennetar, Bon Jovi, Daughtry, Hinder and Buck Cherry.

Favorite Books

True crime and crime/mystery fiction. I love Patricia Cornwell. I like the nonfiction crime books interesting as well.

Favorite Movies

I like romantic comedies. Horror and suspense movies always get me going! Love 'em! My favorite movie of all time is Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Favorite Television

I don't watch much. I LOVE Nip/Tuck!!!

Favorite Crafts

I like to paint, draw, scrapbook make ATC's, Dottees and cards.

Comment: Thank you Nicole for my lovely mermaid dotee...I've had to hide her from my daughter (she thinks that she too is secretly a mermaid!) I love her 'seashells'and sequins along with all the little extras too. Well done on your first one. Just a comment - she should have a 'loop' beaded or otherwise to hang her up with. :)
