I am 28 years old and I live in the Deep South. I am recently wed (May 2007) to a rock n roll singer. We were blessed with the birth of our first child together, a daughter, on 9/8/08, and she is growing like a weed! My husband also has a 2 1/2 year old son. We have 2 furbabies - a Pomapoo (dog) named Sam and an orange supercat named Max.
I have a little sister who just turned 10 and we are best friends. I am a music lover (literally, lol), a struggling chocoholic, and I love to cook. I love apple martinis and frangelico on ice.
I am a breastfeeding, babywearing, cosleeping mama. I am attempting to make my own wraps (Moby inspired). I am a recycler and I try my best to be as 'green' as possible. I really want a worm compost, I just have to talk my hubby into letting me keep it in the house...
Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Hard Rock. I guess I love Rock music! I also like Country and a little bit of soul. I love The Lovin 44s, Pinmonkey, Caddle, Old Crow Medicine Show, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Whiskey Falls, Bon Jovi, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Parlaiment, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Gov't Mule, Jason Mraz, and much more!
My husband's band, the Lovin 44s, is currently recording a new album, to be released this Fall.
fiction: Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell...
non-fiction: I like informational and DIY books, about topics like gardening, herbal medicine, gentle parenting, cooking, building and maintaining relationships, etc.
My husband and I have been into indie films lately. I really like movies that depict real life situations and/or go in depth with the way people interact. (Not TOO deep...)
I liked Bicentennial Man, Mongol, 12 and Holding, Garden State, Harry Potter, Dogma, Walk the Line, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, The Sound of Music, The Shawshank Redemption, The War, and many more that I've watched in the middle of the night but never caught the name.
ALABAMA FOOTBALL!! ROLL TIDE!!
I try not to watch too much tv, but I admit I was hooked on VH1's Rock of Love. I watch a few shows on VH1, I watch a lot of the Discovery Channel, History Channel, and National Geographic Channel.
I like The Bonnie Hunt Show, Life on Mars, The Daily Show, Rescue Me, and The Sopranos. I watch MSNBC with my husband sometimes.
hmm... I don't do a lot of crafts. Does digital photography and gardening count? I'm not very good at either of those, but I enjoy them.
I like postcards, stickers, and anything with a vintage pattern. I am starting to collect fabrics so I can make patchwork quilts, skirts, etc.
Candles and Incense: I love making my home smell good, and creating a warm atmosphere with a few selectively placed flames... I like fresh scents like linen and vanilla, and some floral scents like lavendar and gardenia. I like seasonal scents, like cinnamon and pumpkin in the fall/winter. I am not very fond of rose or musky scents.
Colors: I don't think I've ever met a color I don't like. But I do like red a lot.
Blankets/throws: I love cuddling on the couch with a comfy throw! Down filled, quilted, fuzzy, or just plain cozy :)
Jewelry: I don't wear much of it, but when I do I like to keep it simple. I love both silver AND gold, am not particular to either, and will wear them together. Not much of a fan of plastic costume jewelry. I love Native American inspired jewelry.
Accessories: I love bohemian style hats, scarves, bags, belts, etc. Actually I just love anything 'bohemian'...
Other things I love:

the beach and really just anywhere near water. If I can't get to the ocean I will gladly go jump in a lake. I love Summertime and sunshine, and am beginning to like Fall and Winter now that I'm a mom and an early riser!
bath/body stuff - bubble baths, neat handmade soaps, pretty much any kind of "smell good" for the body. I LOVE Lush products!
cozy socks
Handmade and vintage items, such as you might find in an "old country store" (but not country 'themed' items like roosters or red and white checks...)
Nature
Interesting cooking utensils
