I'm a very random person and I tend to say interesting things at times. I try to make people laugh and generally love life. Well, I try to.
I live in Boston and go to Boston Latin School. I've moved three times within the same apartment complex and I think that's a great story to tell. I also have a penchant for making bad decisions. =/
I love traveling and learning about cultures. That being said, I also have an obsession with languages and Europe, particularly Sweden. I'm proficient in French but I'm always trying to perfect it so if there are any French speaking people out there, do feel free to help!
Whatever sounds good.
Edith Piaf, Los Campesinos!, BB Brunes, The Most Serene Republic, Shout Out Louds, I'm From Barcelona, Sigur Rรยณs, Mew, The Blood Brothers, Office, Interpol, The Smiths, Refused, The Sounds, Architecture in Helsinki, Andrew Bird, Of Montreal, Voxtrot, Eux Autres, Tokyo Police Club, Beirut, Cold War Kids, The Blow, The Kinks, Big D and the Kids Table, Vampire Weekend, The Who
umm yeah. I probably left some out. =]
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Fight Club, In Cold Blood, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Blankets, Carnet de Voyage, Teen Angst? Naaah..., Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, Black Boy, Tuck Everlasting, To Kill A Mockingbird, All Souls, Pretty Little Dirty, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Everything is Illuminated, The Golden Ratio, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, The Phantom Opera
My only guilty pleasure is Gossip Girl.
I despise mandatory reading; I don't think I've finished a book for English this year!
I haven't seen a lot of movies, not even the so called classics and whatever movies people extol. I don't really like modern movies i.e. American movies because they're usually unoriginal, based on books or horrible remakes of really good films! Hollywood needs some new ideas. But I dig foreign and indie films.
The Dreamers, Amรยฉlie, Donnie Darko, Forrest Gump, Empire Records, Valentin, Introducing the Dwights, Paris je t'aime, Superbad, Four Eyed Monster, The Science of Sleep
I don't watch a lot of TV for similar reasons. TV these days just...suck. Remember when TV used to be good?! I'm glad that was part of my childhood. Some shows I do try to watch are Monk, CSI, Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, Family Guy and The Office.
Favorite shows that have been canceled are Freaks and Geeks, Stella, and Arrested Development. Why do the crap ass shows get to stay on???
Current TV is pretty sweet too.
Whatever I'm capable of doing/finishing.
That is, anything easy. I lack in manual creativity but my imagination is superb.
postcards, keychains (I don't know what I do with them...),polaroids, zines, trinkets (I like the word as well), journals (I never write in them!), totes/bags, gnomes, mixed CDs, maps, posters, miniature objects
I'm absolutely in love with Craig Thompson and Polaroids.
Hooray for snail mail!
I'm skilled in BSing just about anything, especially papers.
I want to make the world a better place.
I'm infatuated with shades of green. I didn't realize it until one day someone said to me, "Cool shades of green." Yes, somehow I managed to wear all green that day and it wasn't even March 17!
I hate it when people put everything on their Powerpoints.
