Firstly i hate my user name, i want to change it!! When i signed up with swap bot i thought that a user name was just something that i needed to know - i didnt realise it was what i would be known as on swap bot.drrrrrrrr.

I am a mum with 4 children I live in Australia. Im 34, ive done a science degree and im currently finishing a teaching degree.
Id like to learn to speak and write Japanese and/or Mandarin.

I love reading - anything. I especially luv sci fi and fantasy, my fave author being Robin Hobb (at the moment). Also love Jane Austin and Georgette Heyer novels. I love the Bronte sisters novels, I read Jane Eyre about twice a year. Have also just read the Cazalets novels by Elizabeth Howard - they were great. Fave Sci Fi author is Asimov. i Love childrens books. Of course, also like the Tolkien books but have never seen the movies - books are always better anyway. One of my fave all time books is Wild Swans of China. And of course last but not least the Harry Potter books are fantastic!!

I love classical music, I play the piano and classical guitar, at the moment I'm really into G F Handel.

For all those piano players out there I'd love to swap favourite pieces, or share or talk about your favourite pieces or composers.

I also love, love, love playing Beethoven, Chopin, Elton John

FAVOURITE TV SHOWS are Mr Bean, Black Adder, Monty Python, the Goodies, The Young Ones, Kath and Kim and the Chasers War on Everything and black books

I love quilting and embroidery and knitting. Especially love stitcheries that are whimsical and country style quilting and patchwork.

I love quilting fabrics of any sort specially love 1930's fabrics and pastels and country colours and the gorgeous brights of Kaffe Fasset. Am also into applique.

I like making stuffies, i've seen some great books, if you have any cute patterns i'd love for you to share them with me. Ilike the look of stuffies that are cute little animals or nature related things.

I really want to get into amigurumi.

I don't like fake Kawaii brands they are just not good quality - they dont last!! I'm also not fond of barbie, disney, diddl, alphabet stickers, stickers that teachers use. Fake Kawaii. Licorice and cheap floral smells. Incense. Notepads with white paper. Candles, perfume and makeup (skin too sensitive)

Kawaii brands Kamio, Q-Lia, Mind wave, San-x, Crux, Sanrio. Some of my favourite characters are hello kitty, Natto Chan, mamegoma, kerori, nyanko, rilakkuma, wanroom, babyboo, sugarbunnies, hannari tofu, kogepan, shuwawa soda chan, awa awa chan ... the list could go on.

I'm a nature girl - love bushwalking and gardening..

i like natural body products like olive oil soaps as i have very sensitive skin.
