I am a nurse. I moved from California to Iowa earlier this year. My life is primarily about work, sewing, and my two fat fluffy cats.

Of the blocks we've made so far, my Milly/Mabel came out the best and I love it for that reason.

I like colors; pastels and neons might be my least favorites, and ones that bring to mind autumn or the sea my most favorites.

I like soft fabrics, especially double gauze, cotton lawn, and well-worn quilting cottons.

Coziness is important to me.

I have plenty of thrift-store pillows I would like to cover with beautiful fabric/quilting/embroidery; I am trying to be civilized and use coasters on my wooden tables; I like consumables and letters by post and learning -- especially languages.
