Hi Pat, Thank you for the welcome. I live in the valley in the smog, actually it's not that bad until you drive down the mountain into this area where you can see the smog. In any case, I'm not far from the mountains, and every few months I housesit for my dad and he lives in the foothills. I'm looking forward to particpating in more swaps.

I know what you mean. The child I've been sponsoring the longest is from Sierra Leone. It's usually a 6 month turn around from the time I send a letter to the time I get a letter back talking about it. I get letters fairly often from him though, over this year, I received 8 letters. My other three children are new sponsorships, and I haven't received any letters from them yet.
