I started patchwork/quilting in January 2014. I'm now totally addicted. It didn't take long!. I've been clothes sewing off and on since my teens. I have a sizeable dressmaking fabric stash and I'm working on the quilting fabric stash!

I work full time - to pay for my fabric and the sewing keeps me sane, well that and chocolate...

I live in a cottage in the countryside with my husband and two dogs (spaniels) and as my username suggests I sew in our annexe. I keep a futon in there just in case anyone absolutely needs to come and stay but as that would mean tidying up I am discouraging overnighters!

I'm still finding my feet in terms of what I do and don't like colour/style wise so I am open to anything, modern vintage, solids, patterns, low volume... Green and yellow are my favourite colours. I'm not too fond of lilac. My favourite animal is a giraffe!
