3 saving tips (and more) by Petitpaindepice:

1) A basic and easy one : pay cash ! it helps you to realise how money can be spent fast.

2) Sign up for rewards cards or member cards from supermarkets because it will make you save a lot of money, also watch coupons !!!

3) Beware of the promotional advertisements like "3 for 2" or "buy 3 get 4th free" because it will simply get you to spend more. If you need one mascara, then buy 1 only, not 2 or 3 to get some freebies.

4) Buy family size or Big sizes for stuffs you use everyday like cereals, shampoo, detergent. Because you will always use it ! Even for fresh products if you can keep it in the freezer.

5) Try to reduce your expenses by cutting costs where you generally wont think about, like napkins/paper towels (you can replace it by using a sponge)

6) Take care of your stuffs !!! they will last longer and you wont have to buy a new one.

7) Find useful swaps and trades to do on the internet. for example you can trade make up on certain websites for the ones you dont use. Recycle gifts by re-gifting or selling it on ebay when the ebay costs are the lowest (usually not during big events like christmas, easter, halloween)

well, that was my tips, I hope you will find them useful ;)

Hello! I am Nancy(cricketsarge) and your partner in the below named swap:

$Help Your Partners Save Money!

One way I save money is to utilize the mail order pharmacy connected with my health care plan. They are filling prescriptions that are generic medications for FREE. It is important to keep track of how much medication you have so you can order ahead of time. I am not sure what type of insurance you have in Singapore, but if it is a PPO, POS or HMO type plan, then I would definately check into this for you and your family members.

Another way to save money is to make sure you make a list before going to the grocery store, and follow the list. It is also best to go to the grocery store once a week instead of multiple times, as the more times you go into that store, the more money you will spend each week. There will always be those little impulse buys!

I save money each year by purchasing shipping through Amazon.com ONCE for the entire year. When it is Christmas, I have the gifts shipped FREE under the shipping plan I purchased, and that saves a TON, and throughout the year I order birthday gifts, etc. and have those gifts shipped directly to the recipient FREE of charge. It saves on shipping, packaging, gasoline, time, you name it! It is perhaps one of the best investment purchases I make all year that saves me a TON in the long run!

Hi i am your partner for Help Your Partners save Money.. So here are my three tips..

  1. When Sale is on, Go shopping at then end as you get some great bargains. E.g. Here in Switzerland the sale starts in December and ends in Feb, now in Dec things are only 50% reduced by the end of the sale they are 90% reduced so you get things for like 5 dollars.

  2. Buy things that are on Budget in the supermarket, or 3 for 2, you save money and the Budget goods are not so bad.

  3. Try to do all your stuff in one round, i.e when you leave the house do everything shopping, bank so you save money on Petrol.

  4. Try and make sure items are finished before buying more. e.g. do not go and buy more carrots when you have more or extra soap when you have like 5 bars of them.

Ok thats all for now, by
