I am closer to 40 than 35 and living a lovely life in the metropolitan desert. Play the roles of: significant other, mum to two young boys and one very big dog,I am also a closet crafter/collector. I am trying desparately to incorporate a little girly colour and glamour into a household full of testosterone and sports..

I love vintage style, glamour and goods, my home has alot of thrifted and salvaged items that have been reinvented and reloved. I hate clutter but like to look at and use things that I love so I rotate alot of seasonal accents and goodies around the house frequently throughout the year - which is great fun and always a surprise . I collect vintage aprons/patterns, kitchenware, tin/decoware, sewing notions and vintage holiday decorations. I am not a girly girl but love girly colours like pink, yellow, red and lite blue. I am addicted to chocolate and diet pepsi and absolutely cant stand anything with nuts in it. I dont wear jewellry and dislike scented candles, the smell of vanilla, the feel of velvet and people smacking gum

Stuck in the 80's when working out. Paul Kelly, Ben Lee, Keith Urban, James Blunt and Roger Clyne when I want to be seranaded. Dixie Chicks, Kasey Chambers, Annie Lennox and Nancy Griffith when need a shot of girl power and recently Good Charlotte - got to keep up with my 10 year old!

Law and Order - Criminal Intent, Rescue Me (Dennis Leary is a hottie!) The Closer, Nature, Frontline, Beyond 2000, Barefoot Contessa - no reality TV for me - I am tapped out as it is!! Baseball and rugby in HD ...

Love it all but definately more partial to colourful softies, bags, aprons, holidays, vintage paper crafts/notions and anything retro and kitzchie

Sucker for chick and good cop flicks, period romance dramas, old Laurence Olivier, Bette Davis movies and anything with John Cusak, Russell Crowe and Sam Elliott in it!
