Hey there. Thanks for the comment :) Unfortunately, I have really only worked in spec. ed. for about 3 months before I had to move away for my husband's work. All I can say is that you need to be patient!! There are not many people in the world who are good at that job (I even found most other mainstream teachers thought I was weird for loving working with children with extra needs). It can be tough, emotionally, physically, mentally, but you will come out of it a better person, and so will the children if you do it well :D
