This is very active to me, it tells me that sitting back and just saying "Happy Solstice" is not enough for me. I need to actively find ways to celebrate it.
This reminds me of my garden - flowers, bees, fruit of the vine.
Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, and the dragon pleases my fantastical side!

I just love the green and the life in this picture, and butterflies always make me think of high summer.
I love to celebrate the solstice with some yoga, I feel like it really tunes me into the sun's energy on this longest day.
I just found this picture and fell in love with it. I feel like we often forget the moon on this longest day of the sun. To me, the moon is just as important and needs some extra love today since this is its shortest night.
And, as a bonus, a Lithuanian Bee Goddess. For me, the Goddess takes on honeybee attributes in the summertime. There are few symbols more quintessentially summer for me.
