I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 26 years. My daughter and her husband and daughter moved out of state recently. Yeah, that's not fun. My son was a missionary for our church and has returned from Iraq and is waiting to begin collage. Our youngest is a Sr in HS. She is a certified CNA and will be certified in EMT in April. Very wonderful family! I sew and I like that a lot.
I love doing swaps. It's nice to get mail, but I think the funnest part is coming up with a package that I would like, hoping the recipient will like it as well. I found a place that has some really great kitchen towels and send the ones I would love. It is closing for the winter. Maybe I should stalk up.
Swaps I have done are Apron, dishtowel, Halloween, several Christmas ones, favorite fall, secret santa, Alphabet, recipe, handmade item, etc. I have been a participant in several swaps.
I have really enjoyed the apron swaps that I have done. I usually crochet something if a swap calls for something hand made. I do doily's, table cloths, bed spreads and am currently doing dishrags as my granny sent me many patterns for them.
I like tarnished silver or just silver jewelry. I like my clothing to flow . If you keep up with Dressing Your Truth, I am a 2.
