i am a stay-at home mom of 2 girls(4 and 7) with a new babe on the way in may. i work at a local preschool-kindergarten as a substitute when they need me, and in return both of my girls have enjoyed free tuition (and i was able to take them to work with me!)

i live in washington state (but on the border with portland, ore (a great city!) my husband works for Union Pacific railroad. (when they are working).

i am a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Behaviorial Psychology. i did my practicum work with the Northwest Youth Autism Project out of UCLA.

i enjoy most forms of music with the exception of modern rap and any overly-aggressive music. some favorite artists include: pink, traci chapman, chris isaak, and almost anything from the 80's.

who has time to read with kids? :) does dr. suess count? lol. i love stephen king, jonathan kellerman, poetry, classics, would love to find a good book club to keep me focused and introduce me to new authors.

i love my dvr! it allows me to still watch shows without interferring with my family! i enjoy the major tv dramas: desperate housewives, grey's anatomy, fringe, (love) the office, and hbo & showtime series: dexter, big love etc.

i love: family, my kids, cats, goodfriends, christmas, cupcakes, grandparent's stories, creative writing, chocolate, italian food, snow, traveling, photography, the colors blue, and brown; outhouse decor (tastefully); and anything with red poppies. (also, i enjoy homemade items-so much more personal and unique)

not so fond of: hot hot weather, exercise (i know i know), people who pile dishes in sink, but never put them in the dishwasher, politics, eggs, and mushrooms, sponge-bob,

my main craft is scrapbooking, i love making something out of nothing! but i enjoy most paper crafts. i have tried and enjoy most other crafts with exception of sewing/quilting (just no experience-that is my mother-in-law's area :)

i like food. almost all food/candy. (sour gummy is my least favorite, but my girls love it!) no food allergies. my favorite is milk chocolate with some kind of nut (hazel nut or macadamia). mmmm. but i LOVE trying new foods. oh yeah, am pregnant so all sounds good. :)

i like, and can find a use for, just about anything. :) but with two girls i always need pink/violet scrapbook accessories (ie-paper, ribbon, buttons, etc), currently baby accessories (it's a boy!) (for scrapbook or other), i love teas (especially peach or apricot; or iced variations), i love stationary/organizational items, vanilla or almond scented items, blueberry flavored items, and i love getting stuff (anything really) from other areas of the world. thanks!
