I'm a current student at the Maryland College of Art and Design. I'm majoring in illustration, with a studio concentration in graphic design and a possible minor in creative writing. I love to paint, and craft just about anything. I enjoy sewing quite a bit, and like to make stuffed animals/creatures/monsters, as well as clothing. I'm very much into the DIY realm of things. I have a small purchased silkscreen, though I've only ever used one I've cobbled out of stretcher bars and donated nylon/cotton fabric.

I enjoy dreams. Figments. Illusions. Oddities and unrealities. My art is definitely influenced by those motifs. Secrets, mermaids and sirens, transformations, constellations and keys are all up there. And birds. I love birds.

I enjoy creating odd juxtapositions of things, or working in themes.

I like refashioning old things, be it clothing, objects, or ephemera.

I have a deep and abiding love of steampunk. While I don't consider myself part of the sub-culture, I admire it and the aesthetic. There's just something about all that clockwork.

I enjoy gardening, and my boyfriend designs beautiful ponds He loves fish, so I have a lot of fish and ocean related things for him, and am always looking for more. I like to cook and bake, especially ethnic foods. I eat meat on occasion, though I don't enjoy it -- I'm an almost vegetarian. My boyfriend, however, is entirely carnivorous: he refuses to eat anything that comes from the ground, except potatoes. We're a strange couple.

I have wide ranging taste in music, though good lyrics are a must.
